A 15 member film crew headed by Walter Sears came to Golden Era to interview William on the Oaks' experience with the Muscle Shoals Sound. The Oaks recorded many of their hits with the famed group at their studio. The documentary is called "Sweet Home Alabama - the music of Muscle Shoals Sound."
