Rusty Golden Scores Song of the Year as well as Another #1
William Lee’s oldest son, Rusty is a very successful songwriter. The Booth Brothers’ song, “What Salvation’s Done For Me,” which Rusty co-wrote with writer, Dianne Wilkinson was just named “2009 Song Of The Year” at the National Quartet Convention.

The McKamey’s latest single written by Rusty entitled, “Between 12 & 33,” hit the number 1 spot on the November Singing News chart. This makes Rusty’s 4th composition to not only be singled by an artist, but to go all the way to the top spot. Other number one compositions by Rusty are “John In The Jordan,” “What Salvation’s Done For Me,” and “I Want To Thank You”.

The Booth Brothers and Producer Lari Goss, are currently in the studio working on their new recording, which includes another Golden song entitled “God Did It All.” Lari believes in this song so much that he has included it in an upcoming songbook of his “Greatest Arrangements.” William Lee believes this song will be a standard. “This is a great song. God has given Rusty a gift to testify through song. I am very proud of him and his success.” Back
